A return visit to celebrate our First Wedding Anniversary, having stayed at The FBH when we married. As magical and as special as our first stay. The location is unique and so tranquil, it has to be experienced to truly appreciate. Jayne is such a wonderful hostess with her kind, touching and very thoughtful gifts. The FBH and Ullswater will always hold a very special place in our hearts. We will of course be returning!!
Every day of the 5 days we spent at Far Boathouse was a ‘pinch me’ moment. We ventured out a few times but couldn’t wait to get back to watch the colour changes and relax. We had beautiful weather and couldn’t have wished for a better place to spend our honeymoon. Thank you Jayne. We will be back.
The Far Boathouse is a fabulous place to stay and it has everything and more than you could possibly wish for. It is cosy, comfy and spotlessly clean and the views over the lake are so beautiful. Jayne makes it even more special with all her lovely treats and attention to detail. This is our second visit and we are looking forward to returning to our ‘Happy Place’ in the not too distant future. Amazing place to stay. A hide away from the rest of the world. Peaceful, relaxing and you never tire of the glorious views. We wanted for nothing, lots of homely / romantic touches and you can feel the love that Jayne fills the boathouse with. Definitely recommend and we have already booked another stay. Beyond words
